This report contains the draft copies of four communities' plans for the implementation of a digitally addressed trunked communication systems (DATCS).
Abstract
The communities include Lexington, Ky., the State of Oklahoma, Phoenix, Ariz., and Salt Lake County, Utah. Data for each plan were collected by a review of existing documentation and personal interviews with potential users of DATCS. The data were collated and reduced to a written report reflecting the communication system and its inventory as it existed in each community. The DATCS system concept for each community was developed from the individual data bases and from the selection of preferred solutions to potential problems and system requirements. For each SIP, the system concept and required implementation activities are described. For each plan, the current system inventory report, the DATCS system requirements, and the Statement of Work are appended. Appended to the entire report is an example Problem Analysis Report based on the reports for all the communities and the final project report to Bucks County, Pa. Tables and graphs accompany each plan.
