Over 120 books and journal articles published in the 1970's are listed here in alphabetical order by author. Name of the publisher, date of the publication, and the number of pages are included in each citation. The introductory article explains the need for vocational training and education of prisoners. Nearly 90 percent of adult inmates have not completed a high school education and at least 50 percent cannot read or write. It is hoped that this bibliography will provide an insight into inmate vocational training and education. Information on how to obtain additional copies of the bibliography is included.
