Abstract
This second edition of the bibliography doubles the number of citations that appeared in the original 1979 edition. Only literature pertaining to the Second Amendment is included and other firearm-related issues not concerning constitutional or legislative affairs are excluded. the latest articles present up-to-date statistics ad refined progun arguments while the earlier articles contain historical data. The bibliography is organized by subject, ranging alphabetically from 'Accidents' to 'Zebra Homicides'. The 'Gun Control Debate' topic is split into two subdivisions: a general listing and one by year from 1930 to 1980. The general subsection contains both current and earlier essays, whose arguments in defense of the second amendment are well developed in-depth analyses and are valued as research classics. Within each topical section the literature is entered alphabetically by title and contains pertinent bibliographic information. Especially informative article likely to be available in public libraries are marked. Lists of journals publishing frequent progun literature and of other data sources are included. Total entries number over 1,000.
