Abstract
They cover administrative segregation, inmate correspondence, disciplinary procedures, inmate grooming and attire, search and seizure practices, the use of force, and visitation rights and privileges. Commentary sections follow the guidelines and focus on the rationale for and important factors considered in the rules. The commentaries also support the regulations with case law, correctional standards, State statutes, individual State practices, or other authority.
