Indictable offenses generally include violence against a person, sexual offenses, robbery, burglary, theft and handling stolen goods, fraud and forgery, criminal damage, and others, including blackmail, high treason, libel, reckless or dangerous driving, and drug offenses. Nonindictable offenses are those of a less serious nature and cover most motoring offenses.
