Statistics are presented for the juvenile division, including a summary of location of wards, number of wards, training school admissions, termination of wardships, and movements of training school wards. For adult institutions, data are given on ages and sex of inmates, numbers in custody, escapes, movement of population, and length of sentence. Statistics on jails include number committed, convicted, and sentenced; types of crime; ages of prisoners; movement of population; and transfers to other institutions. Probation and parole figures are also given.
