Also listed are sentenced cases by offense and penalty, along with the number and amount of fines. Other tables note numbers of those previously sentenced and those warned with suspended sentences. Juvenile justice data list sentenced cases by general offense category, by specific crime type, by type of decision, and by sentence. General crime types are tabulated by the correctional and educational measures decreed. The concluding table shows juveniles by crime category and previous sentence. Appended is a listing of all offenses prosecuted in 1980 and a chart of the West German population groups by age and sex who may be prosecuted under the law.
