The crime of house-breaking in Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, has been analysed from sociological aspects; the socio-economic background and behaviour patterns of these criminals.
Abstract
To these house-breaking criminals, crime is a way of life. Neither punishment nor legislation can control and eradicate this crime in Vijayawada. The crime of house-breaking needs to be tackled through correction and rehabilitation programmes. Also, proper training to police and better cooperation between public and police are necessary.
