An evaluation of the 41 restitution projects set up in 26 States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia is presented along with comments by juvenile justice officials. A project manager in Madison, Wisc., describes the program as implemented at the State and local level, and a youth panel (consisting of young people who have particpated in the program both in the District of Columbia and in Wisconsin) describes its impact on their lives.
