The directory lists and briefly describes 190 pretrial programs which are willing to cooperate with other agencies from other jurisdictions in the transfer of a client from the agency where the defendant was arrested to an agency where the defendant lives.
Abstract
The program listings are organized alphabetically by State, by city within the State, and by name of the agency. Each program description includes the name, address, telephone number, director's name, authorization, court system and area served, number of staff, type of funding and services, eligibility criteria, selection procedures, program requirements of clients, agency experience, client outcomes, and agency evaluation and research. Each program's willingness to cooperate with other agencies is indicated.
