Also covered are handling rules of evidence, including prima facie cases; working with casualty claims, including liability, negligence, and malpractice suits; handling family law, including alimony and child support; handling real estate deals; processing a bankruptcy proceeding, including creditor's petition for bankruptcy; handling industrial claims, including all aspects of workmen's compensation; processing a contract transaction, including breach of contract and creditor-debtor disputes; handling a criminal case, including pretrial, trial, and appeal documents; and working with copyright registrations, trademarks, and trade secrets. The discussion also identifies scores of probable trouble spots, special procedures, and helpful hints from veterans of the legal world. Forms used in the various procedures are provided, and a subject index is included. (Publisher abstract modified)
