Abstract
The published studies concerned extortion, Hawaii criminal proceedings, the Court Observer pilot project, sexual assault, victim/witness protection and assistance, school violence and vandalism, and other topics. The report notes the recommendations and results arising from these studies, and previews studies in progress on sentencing and plea bargaining, among other subjects. The Commission's membership and structure and its statutory jurisdiction are noted. A list of 16 Commission publications is appended.
