Abstract
It covers the initial decision to purchase a handgun to the legal and moral responsibility in using lethal force. The handbook outlines when a firearm can be used and when it cannot. It describes what people can expect to feel after shooting someone: the trauma, the community's reaction, and the court's response. It explains when and how to use guns in the home, on the street, at the workplace, and in the automobile. It describes appropriate weapons for women and when they should be used. The book also describes the various types of handguns available and their advantages and disadvantages. Graphic photographs and anecdotes illustrate the dangers of improper handgun use and the trauma to the body from gunshot wounds. A question and answer section is appended to each chapter.
