From 1980 to 1982, Missouri added 9 new detention centers, to make a total of 22. Capacity for detaining juveniles rose from 478 to 571 places, and staff increased by 40 fulland 15 part-time employees.
Abstract
Only 13 Judicial circuits detain juveniles in jail facilities, compared to 25 who did in 1980. The report contains the detention practices survey questionnaire, listings of detention centers, and questionnaire responses according to circuit. A map and circuit information (circuit judge, juvenile officer, addresses) are included.
