The month's statistics of reported crimes are tabulated in terms of investigated and nonindictable offenses by province, according to groups of municipalities and by the nature of the crime. Cases recorded by the police, the Royal Marechaussee, and the State and municipal police are reported separately. Statistics are also given on persons taken into custody during the first quarter of 1982, on judicial statistics of the ordinary court for the first quarter of 1982, and on victims of crime for 1981 by nature of the offense and victim age and sex.
