Boys are often sexually victimized, especially by men. High-risk boys appear to be those who have a poor relationship with their father and suffer from forms of family neglect.
Abstract
Boys differ from girls in being less often victimized within the family, but in other respects their experiences are similar. Studies by the author show that such experiences often have long-term effects on boys and may be associated with adult homosexual activity. Tables and about 25 references are included.
