This paper presents the results of an evaluation of a correctional treatment program and gives special attention to the limitations of the research design.
Abstract
It is suggested that such limitations impinge upon the ability of the evaluation to generate conclusive evidence on project outcomes and may even be responsible for negative conclusions about correctional treatment programs. These suggestions are offered in order to design future evaluations in a more accurate fashion. (Author abstract)
