The events comprised a business meeting of the Belgian National Federation of Police Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners as well as an academic session in which two papers were delivered. At the former, reports by the national council reviewed the organization's budget and activities for 1980-81 and the assembled membership elected new officers. At the academic session, speakers addressed the changing image of the police in a changing society and the issue of environmental law enforcement. Photographs, congress agenda, and texts of the principal reports and speeches are given.
