This directory for lawyers, educators, and others consists of State-by-State listings of educational programs that study the law, the legal system, and the legal process or, more narrowly (if the State has many such programs), those that are centralized or novel.
Abstract
Programs are listed alphabetically by city, and statewide programs are identified. The programs originate from public schools, bar associations, universities, departments of education, courts, and police departments. For each listing, the directory describes the subjects taught and activities involved, the materials used and developed, the number of teachers and other staff, the participants and sponsors, and the source of funds (if applicable). Contact persons are listed, and the District of Columbia, Guam, and Canada are also represented. National law-related education projects and resources are cited, and additional national projects of special interest are briefly described.
