Tables and graphs, accompanied by short narrative, present crime levels and trace the evolution of crime over the period studied. The statistics are shown by type of offense, for female offenders, and by proportion of cases solved. Other tabulations depict recidivism, duration of the criminal procedures, type of sentence, victims, offender age, and correctional institutionalization. The bulk of the document consists of tabular and graphic data.
