Rape is a crisis that is shared by the victim and her family. This article uses conceptual models of family crisis theory to integrate research on the impact of rape on the family unit.
Abstract
The crisis-meeting resources of families are also discussed. Implications of research in these areas drawn are for practitioners providing counseling and supportive services to rape victims and their families. (Author abstract)
