Ss were from a state industrial reformatory which offers academic and vocational training to inmates. Data collection involved the Sequential Tests of Educational Programs Series, Stanford Achievement Test, Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, and questionnaires pertaining to family and childhood history, past school years and the adolescent period, and activities following high school. Results indicated that variables used in the study characterize the LD and JD groups; that these variables were similar among groups and provided the basis for a relationship between learning disability and delinquency. Differences between LD and JD Ss included that LD Ss viewed school more positively. (SB) (Resources in Education (ERIC) abstract)
