Abstract
It is stated that in all cases the modus operandi shows great variety and that the perpetrators are able to commit offenses during all four activities performed by the information system: input, output, data processing, and in the frame of the feedback. The author describes certain characteristics typical of computer abuse which are not perceived in other criminal offenses. A total of 46 footnotes and 15 references are provided.
