To illustrate the provisions of law No. 1799 concerning confiscation, an example is given of the confiscation of the car of someone who has been convicted of driving without a license.
Abstract
The paper deals with the problem of making sure that the confiscation is related to the offense and is proportional to the magnitude of the offense. One form of confiscation is for public safety.
