This selective guide is the first North American resource to gather together diverse information on sexual abuse, including findings about incest, nonfamily abuse, the offender, legal aspects of sexual offenses, and the treatment of the abused.
Abstract
A recommended basic library on the subject and a list of available films are included. A selected annotated bibliography contains 180 items culled from journals, books, and studies dating from 1937 to 1980. An appendix includes nonannotated items related to sexual abuse of children, addresses of major sources of information on sexual abuse of children, and an author index.
