The police agencies in British Columbia, Canada, have been searching for ways of improving their promotion and training processes.
Abstract
One way of doing this is to make the entire process more job related, another is to integrate all the components of the process. An important aspect has been the development of an Assessment Centre. The Centre's benefits, problems, and prospects for the future are discussed in this article. (Publisher abstract)
