A host narrator discusses the problem with a group of children. The children are encouraged to play a game of 'Let's Pretend' in which they picture themselves in certain situations and are asked to make decisions based on the circumstances they encounter. Two girls are asked by a man to go with him to help find his dog. Two boys are confronted by the sight of a man who for no particular reason is hanging around their playground. A girl is unexpectedly invited into a neighbor's house on the way home from school. A young boy is told by someone in his home not to tell anyone about an incestuous incident that has just transpired. The target audience is taught through repetition and visual aid that there are three rules to remember whenever they are confronted by a situation that is unfamiliar or possibly dangerous: say no, get away, and tell someone who is trusted.
