This first attempt to quantify the health of the parolee finds that the parolee in New York is sicker both physically and mentally than the average New York hospital patient.
Abstract
Results are compared for New York hospital employees, routine hospital patients, New York ostensibly healthy people, neurotic hospital employees, and Veterans Administration psychiatric patients versus male parolees. Data and 13 references are supplied. (Author abstract modified)
