The purpose of this management note is to describe the design, implementation, and preliminary results of a trial court delay reduction program.
Abstract
Introduced in the Rhode Island Superior Court, the program introduced key procedural changes with a corresponding shift from a manual case tracking system to an automated one. Initial results point to positive effects and suggest that the program merits consideration by other jurisdictions. (Publisher abstract)
