Eight separate contributions cover the topics of economic crime, a rational and just judicial system, criminal responsibility, the court of public opinion, the high cost of the nation's penal system, white-collar crime, a new model of crime control, and civil liberties and crime control. A question-and-answer section addresses Kentucky's proposed law to allow a person to be judged guilty but mentally ill, mandatory sentencing and parole, Kentucky's prison rehabilitation program, and the exclusionary rule.
