Maryland's Conference on Juvenile Repeat Offenders, held in 1982, focused on serious issues surrounding juvenile repeat offenders such as identification, records use, and treatment alternatives.
Abstract
Three speeches addressed the issues of the implications of recent research on juvenile repeat offenders; Massachusett's experience in the classification and treatment of juvenile repeat offenders; and the future of repeat offender programs. Four panel workshops dealt with defining and identifying the juvenile repeat offender, preventing juveniles from repetitive delinquencies, legal and administrative access to juvenile records, and treatment of juvenile repeat offenders. Six appendixes provide supporting materials for each workshop.
