Abstract
It provides model contract clauses for parties who agree to arbitrate under the UNCITRAL Rules and have the AAA act as appointing authority and provide administrative services. The booklet details services the AAA will provide as appointing authority: appointment of sole or presiding arbitrator, appointment of a second arbitrator in three-arbitrator cases, decisions on challenges to arbitrators, appointment of substitute arbitrators, and consultation on arbitrators' fees. Administrative services will cover communications, hearing schedules, hearing rooms, stenographic transcripts, interpretation, and fees and deposits of arbitrators' fees. The booklet contains the AAA fee schedule and a copy of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.
