Minutes and a detailed record of each conference are given. The record includes the conference agenda, a list of papers, the work of the conference, summaries of the addresses and papers presented, notes on current work in law reform, and discussions of various issues. The Hobart conference (1981) focused on European and British approaches to law reform. The Adelaide conference (1982) included papers on the role of law reform commissions and the cost effectiveness of law reform methods. The Brisbane conference (1983) included papers on problems of legislative drafting, constitutional problems of admiralty jurisdiction, and a procedure for closer cooperation between agencies in matters appropriate for uniform law reform. Appendixes include the text of a keynote address on the political aspects of law reform in the United Kingdom and a document dealing with uniform law reform and the case for a national law reform advisory council.
