Annotation
Characteristics of father-daughter and stepfather-stepdaughter incest were compared using historical data, demographic information, and MMPI scores from 42 cases of child sexual abuse.
Abstract
The same cases also were used to compare attributes of incest involving younger and older daughters/stepdaughters. There was no systematic difference across types of incest, either in terms of offender attributes or specific characteristics of incestuous relationships. In general, all offender groups appeared to have a fairly adequate level of overall functioning. (Publisher abstract)
