Police computerization in the Federal Republic of Germany and the United States of America are compared.
Abstract
German police forces have placed more emphasis on transferability of systems concepts and software, making it possible to implement rapid technology transfer from one force to another. American police departments seem to feel more need to develop original and unique systems to support local operations. (Publisher abstract)
