Are the 'modi operandi' of armed robberies homogeneous? To answer this question, the authors analyzed the files of the Quebec and Montreal municipal police services.
Abstract
Six types of armed robberies were identified. They differ from each other because of certain characteristics, such as the degree of violence used, the unfolding of the events, the target, and the offences involved. (Author abstract)
