Annotation
This filmed public service announcement, presented in three lengths (1 minute, 30 seconds, and 10 seconds), alerts the public to the issue of placement of juveniles in adult correctional facilities.
Abstract
All versions of the announcements portray juveniles in cells with adults, and the narrator notes that juveniles who have committed minor offenses or no offenses at all are often incarcerated with hardened and violent criminals, even though this is illegal in most States. The aim of all three segments is to secure public participation in seeing that juveniles are not jailed with adults.
