Abstract
Listings under the heading 'United States and Law in General' cover works containing U.S. jurisdictional material as well as all law and law-related works that specify no jurisdiction. Another section lists works referring to international law affecting states or citizens in more than one region of the world. Also included are works relating to the foreign relations of any state as well as theories of state. Titles are listed as well for particular regions (Africa, Asia and Pacific, Europe, Latin America and Caribbean, Middle East and Islamic states, and North America). One section of the bibliography cites law and law-related items pertaining to particular world religions, and the concluding section lists works about early civilizations and legal systems. Titles in each section are under the most relevant subject heading (e.g., abused children, children's rights, juvenile courts, and juvenile justice administration). Each title entry includes title, author, edition, imprint, publisher information, pagination, and series and note entries. System retrieval numbers and price (if available) are also presented.
