Abstract
An introductory section for adults focuses on the incidence of child molestation and kidnapping to emphasize the importance of teaching children protective skills. The read aloud stories cover seven different, but typical, situations. All stories explain actions that children can take to protect themselves and get out of these dangerous situations. The booklet also provides illustrations, safety tips for adults and children, senarios that can be used to teach children personal safety, and useful books, audovisual materials, and organizations.
