Are historical crime statistics available from the Federal Bureau of Investigation?
Crime statistics compiled by the
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program can be found in the annual
Crime in the United States
report. Also, the FBI, in cooperation with the Bureau of Justice Statistics, has made available the
FBI's Crime Data Explorer (CDE)
. It is replacing the Uniform Crime Reporting data tool effective November 6, 2020.
