La Crosse County Jail Report - 1985 Confinements

NCJ Number
101716
Date Published
1986
Length
19 pages
Annotation
Data tables, charts, and a narrative summary describe the characteristics of the 2,210 confinements of adults and juveniles in the LaCrosse County Jail (Wisconsin) during 1985.
Abstract
The report also compares the 1985 confinements with those of previous years. Statistics include the arresting agency, length of stay, average daily population, peak populations, gender, race, age, charges, and the charges for the persons confined more than 3 days. Trends and comparisons from 1975 through 1985 are also included. Total confinements rose in 1985, but the average daily population declined because of shorter lengths of confinement.
