THE FOLLOWING AREAS WERE COVERED IN THE COURSE OF THE CONFERENCE - COMPUTER ASSISTED PERSONAL APPEARANCE IDENTIFICATION, VOICE IDENTIFICATION, LATENT FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION, DETECTION OF ILLICIT USE OF TELEPHONE MULTIFREQUENCY SIGNALLING, LOW LEVEL X-RAY SYSTEMS FOR NON-DESTRUCTIVE INSPECTION OF PACKAGES, VEHICLE LOCATION AND SURVEILLANCE, SPEECH DIGITIZATION, USE OF '911' AS A UNIVERSAL POLICE EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SIGNAL, CONCEALED WEAPONS DETECTION, MAGNETIC SENSORS, LOW LIGHT LEVEL TELEVISION CAMERAS, IMAGE INTENSIFICATION, TV APPLICATION TO LAW ENFORCEMENT.
