Abstract
SOME OF THE GOALS ESTABLISHED FOR THIS PROJECT WERE TO GIVE ADMINISTRATORS AN OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY IN DEPTH ISSUES PERTAINING TO THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITIES EXCLUSIVELY, DISCOVER ANSWERS TO PRESSING PROBLEMS, PROVIDE INFORMATION AND EXCHANGE IDEAS THAT ADD TO THE GENERAL KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF PROGRAMS IN CORRECTIONS, SECURE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF RECENT LEGISLATION AND COURT DECISIONS THAT EFFECT THE OPERATION OF THEIR SYSTEMS, IMPROVE TRAINING TECHNIQUES IN THE CORRECTIONAL FIELD, STIMULATE SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENTS IN TREATMENT PROGRAMS FOR THE OFFENDERS, AND DEVELOP A SOURCE BOOK THAT WOULD CONTAIN THE CONTENT OF THE PLANNED INSTITUTES AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION. PROJECT METHODOLOGY, INSTITUTE CONTENT AND EVALUATION ARE PROVIDED.
