Details on Part I Offenses are provided such as type of weapon or force used, type of location in which crime was committed, number of offenses cleared, and type and amount of property stolen and recovered. Homicides, arsons, and domestic violence are analyzed in greater depth. Crime rates are calculated on the basis of 1980 census data and updates.
