The experimental materials described consist of reagants, hair sample, apparatus, 2-methylamino-1-Phenylpropane-2,3,3,3-d, (MA-d), and 2-Amino-1-Phenylpropane-2,3,3,3-d (AP-d). The results discussed in this article relate to calibration curves, linearity, reproducibility, and washing; the two extraction methods outlined include external contamination of hair samples and sectional analysis of hair samples. The results suggest that there is a good correlation between the duration of drug use and sectional drug distribution in hair. 3 tables, 3 figures, and 11 references (Author abstract modified)
