This catalog summarizes court cases pertaining to detention and corrections. The cases are categorized into 50 topic areas.
Abstract
The summaries provide highlights of each case. They are organized by year within topic section. The topics include access to courts, administration, administrative segregation, assessment of costs, and attorney fees. Other subject areas are bail, civil rights, classification and separation, conditions of confinement, cruel and unusual punishment, and discipline. The catalog contains case law on exercise and recreation, ex-offenders, failure to protect, facilities, false imprisonment/arrest, female prisoners, and food.
