This is the second edition of a bibliography that provides an overview of money laundering and its potential impact on national and international financial structures.
Abstract
The first bibliography, published in 1991 relied primarily on periodical literature available in the libraries and specialized information centers of the Washington Metropolitan area. This second edition of the bibliography updates and expands upon the information covered in the first edition; it includes a section on legislation in various countries of North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. Again the research was limited to Metropolitan Washington, D.C. The bibliography is therefore neither geographically nor chronologically exhaustive. The bibliography contains two sections; one consists of listings of monographs and serial publications and the second consists of legislation. Entries have been organized by title in the first section and by country in the second section. There are approximately 860 entries with most publications issued in the 1980's and the 1990's.
