This report presents statistical data showing the numbers and types of felony convictions and prison commitments for selected felonies in California from 1977 through 1991.
Abstract
The data cover violent crimes, property crimes, and drug law offenses for each 6-month period. They also show the rates of conviction for all convictions and convictions for robberies and attempts, assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree burglary, non-burglary crimes against property, and possession of narcotics. The average length of determinate sentences imposed are included for several other crimes. Sentences to State prison, probation, and capital punishment are also included. Tables
