The directory identifies resources that pertain to aging, child abuse, consumer education, disabilities, diseases and disease prevention, dropout prevention, early childhood, environmental education, first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, general health, health departments, and HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted diseases. In addition, the directory lists resources related to homelessness, mental health, multicultural health issues and problems, nutrition, parent education, rape, safety, smoking, substance abuse, suicide, teen pregnancy and parenting, and violence. Both State of Colorado and national resources are included, with accompanying addresses and telephone numbers. A list of hotlines and warmlines and information on the Colorado State Board of Education are provided. Appendixes contain a list of acronyms and hotlines.
