In 1988 Idaho law enforcement agencies started working together through task force efforts to fight drug crime. Currently, the State has 18 task forces that encompass 30 of the 44 counties. The multijurisdictional task forces have drawn on multiregional resources to coordinate drug law enforcement activities that include investigation, arrest, and prosecution of both street-level and upper-level drug offenders. Arrest and conviction case data are presented for each task force. Charts show total arrests by drug and by offense, total convictions by drug and offense, and Federal funding for the task forces.
